The Vscroller free applet performs a Vertical scroll, similar to a movie credits scroll.

java applet Explanation

To use the Vscroller free java applet, I

Step 1: Downloaded Vscroller.zip and extracted into my web page directory. IMPORTANT: All file and folder names must be preserved exactly as zipped.

Step 2: Viewed Vscroller.html with my java enabled browser.

This applet is available as Freeware with the appropriate GNU licensing agreement.

bgImage: The Background Image to be loaded . Currently it must reside in the directory in which the class is found.

Msgnum: Required ! The Number of messages to be display.

Font: The Font Name helvetica,courier, and TimesRoman are supported.

Style: Bold, plain, italic and bolditalic are supported.

Points: Size of character font in points.

Scroll: Scroll up at the end of each message.

Colour: The font color.

Bg: The applet background color.
