1. Overview |
XPS to PDF Command Line is a powerful pdf tool for creating or manipulating Adobe Acrobat PDF format files and multifarious raster image format files. It does not need the third part software support such as GDI, nor via a PDF printer driver, converting Microsoft XPS file(s) to searchable PDF file(s) quickly, the output PDF file(s) are fully searchable in Acrobat and can be indexed in Acrobat Catalog, and industry standard PDF (Portable Document Format) documents can be viewed and printed using the Adobe Acrobat range of products, distribute your print files around the Internet or your company Intranet for easy viewing, searching and printing. 3. Installation&Uninstallation |
Installation: You can download the programe setup file which is a zip file from our site at first, then you only need to decompress setup file. After above working, you can use the program. |
Uninstallation: All you need to do for uninstallation is to delete the direcotry which place the program files. |

(1). Input and Output settings |
-i <string> | Input source xps files or directory which contains xps files you want to convert. This parameter can appear several times, such as: e.g.1) xpstopdf -i "c:\my1.xps" -i "c:\my2.xps" -i "c:\my_xps\" -o "d:\my_pdf\" Extract xps files which are "c:\my1.xps","c:\my2.xps" and all xps files placed in "c:\my_xps\" to "d:\my_pdf\". |
-o <string> | Set destination directory to output pdf files, default is in the same directory as source files. |

-e <int> | Set the tiff compression mode. The program supports the following mode.default is 5 (Lzw compression).
Extract all layouts of "c:\my1.xps" to "d:\my_xps\", it is to output 256 colors tiff files which compression mode is Packbits. |

-g <string> | File type's definitions, supports the following image type, default is tiff format.
Extract all xps files placed in "c:\my_xps\" to "d:\my_xps\", it is to output 256 grayscale image files. |

-m | If you set, it convert all layouts of one xps file to one multi-page tiff. If not set default is single-page tiff. e.g.1) xpstopdf -i "c:\my_xps\" -o "d:\my_xps\" -g "tif" -m Extract all xps files which placed in "c:\my_xps\" to "d:\my_xps\", it is to output multi-page tiff file. |
