Arcade Daze Apps Vol. 1 by Gedeon Maheux

The Arcade Daze style comes full circle with the first installment of application icons that will help give your desktop the complete make-over you’ve been wanting. This set ended up being a lot bigger than I originally intended, but once I started making them I just couldn’t stop.

Thanks go out to everyone who contributed suggestions over at my Flickr page for which apps to create. If I missed some, don’t worry, there is always Vol. 2 :-)

There are tons of goodies that goes along with this release, and here they are in no particular order:

• Adium Dock Icon – If you use Adium, install this from within the application and your little green duck will be retro and ready!

• Dock Parts – For people who want to customize their Leopard Docks, but are not running CandyBar. What are you people thinking anyway? ;-)

• Desktop Pictures – Be sure to check out the Press Start & Game Over desktop pictures over at the Iconfactory. They make the perfect companion to this release.

• iPhone Springboard theme – If your iPhone or iPod touch is jailbroken, keep an eye on the installer app for a new Springboard theme based on Arcade Daze apps. I think you’ll like it.

Special thanks go out to Anthony Piraino who helped me get the Adium dock icon up and running and to Louie Mantia who graciously helped me release the Springboard theme. Thanks guys!
