Open: Plaintext This is a Plaintext window.
Plaintext windows are opened when you click on an Object assigned with the Open Plaintext Action. When you close the window, the contents are always saved, and the window size/position is also saved.
The Object ID is shown in the top caption. Plaintext windows have Hyperlink capability. (click on the green text).
Open: Richtext This is a Richtext window, illustrating some Richtext features:

Richtext can be bold, italic, underlined or strike-out.
Richtext can have Colors, such as blue, red, green, gray, purple, brown, etc.
and also Highlights, such as Magenta.

You can enter Unicode characters by pasting them from Character Map or typing it using the numeric keypad. (See Character Map Help on how to type Unicode characters). Hence you can type mathematical equations like:

Open:Text Click on the above "The Beginning" to see a demo of the Open:Text* action (not the same as Open:Plaintext). The main difference is that the text comes from an Object (with same ID) in a specified file.

Hyperlink Actions... Hyperlink Actions are Actions associated with Hyperlinks (which are texts underlined and in green). For example:
Activate ID* simulates a click on the specified ID. This is a typical Hypertext Function for linking texts.
Cloze Action* enables creation of Cloze texts that contains hidden words such as and
No Action does nothing, and is used simply to underline the text.
Open: 2nd Axonfile* opens the specified file in another Axon window.
Idea: Checklists* opens the specified Checklist.
Open: File* opens any file using the program associated with the file extension.
Open: URL* opens the specified URL, which could also be a HTML file on the local disk.
Play File* is for playing multi-media files or special sounds such as "Asterisk", "Critical Stop", "Exclamation", or "Question".
