BDS ISAM DB Pro Readme
Thank you for ordering BDS ISAM DB® Professional Edition from Broderick Data Systems.
Hardware/Software Requirements
To use BDS ISAM DB, you must have the following:
Windows:
DotNet:
· DotNet Framework 2.0 or later
Hardware:
· No specific Hardware requirements.
Installation
To install the product:
1) Create a folder on your hard disk. For example:
C:\Broderick Data Systems\BDSISAMPro
2) Extract the following files into the newly created folder:
3) Copy BDSISAM.dll into application folders as needed.
4) In each application program, add a reference to BDSISAM.dll.
Trial Period
To use the product, you will need a temporary code. To request a Temporary key, visit the following web page:
http://www.broderickdata.com/ASPX/TempKey/Request.aspx
You will specify the provided temporary code as a parameter on the Open method. Refer to the Product Help (BDSISAMHelp.chm), Reference section, Open Method for more information.
Product Key
After you purchase the product, a Product Key will be provided by Broderick Data Systems. To enter the key, use it instead of the temporary key. Refer to the Product Help (BDSISAMHelp.chm), Reference section, Open Method for more information.
Upgrade from Standard Edition
To upgrade your product from the BDS ISAM DB for Windows Standard Edition, simply replace the BDSISAM.dll, and specify the supplied Temporary or Product key.
Uninstall the Product (Standard or Professional)
To uninstall the product, delete the folder and files created in the Installation steps.
