Follow these steps to load "Bob's Calculator" onto your Palm device:
  1. Install BobCalc.prc.
  2. If you have a HiRes device, you can install BobCalcHighResButtons.prc, too.
  3. For HiRes digit fonts, you can install BobCalcHiResLCDFont#.prc. Font1 is the original font set, with normal LCD type digits. Font2 is similar, but the gaps between the parts of each LCD digit have been filled in, and this can look better on some devices. Font2 will also work on LowRes devices.
  4. If you want to try the sample programs, install BCalPgm_*.pdb.
  5. The advanced calculation functions require an additional math library called "Mathlib.prc". You can download this freeware application from PalmGear.com or Handango.com.  If you are searching for this application at those sites, search for "Mathlib" not "Mathlib.prc". Note that some devices may have this library already installed on the device. The Treo600 is a case in point.
The above presumes that you have been able to successfuly download and unzip the application file bundle. Following are more detailed instructions:
  1. Download the Bob's Calculator zip file from PalmGear.com or Handango.com.
  2. Unzip the files to a folder on your desktop.
  3. Select the files for installation (as above) to your Palm device. Usually, this can be accomplished simply by double-clicking the icon. If that doesn't work then you can start your Palm Desktop application, and use the "install" tool to locate and select this file.
  4. HotSynch to upload the program files to your Palm.
