1. Abstract

bs-spectrum is a spectrum analyzer for Steinberg VST 2.4 , and Apple Audio Units plug-in format. It supports Mac OS X and Windows.

2. Requirement

• OS
  • Mac OS X 10.4 (Universal Binary) or later
  • Windows XP (Pentium III or later) or later
• VST / Audio Units compatible host application
• Steinberg Cubase series
• Apple Logic  series
• Apple GarageBand , etc.

• FFT (Fast Fourier Transform)
• Hamming Window
• Plug-in ID : 'bs02'

4. Install

• [Mac OS X] Run (double-click) bs-spectrum.pkg
• [Windows] Run (double-click) bs-spectrum.msi

5. How to use

• Startup bs-spectrum from your host application, and open editor window. bs-spectrum doesn't affect output signals (no effect and no delay).
• Choose display mode (linear or logarithmic frequency) from "View" menu.

 

• Following figure is an example of logarithmic frequency view.

bs-spectrum is freeware. But if you find it useful, please make a donation. This will be used for future development and support.
