CodeHealer is an efficient, powerful and easy to use program source code analysis and verification tool that will help find and fix a significant number of programming bugs, mistakes and inconsistencies in programs before they are released.

The information provided by CodeHealer will also help developers understand and improve existing code that they have not written. This is especially helpful for corporate developers who take over management of legacy applications.

CodeHealer supports the Object Pascal syntax for Delphi for Win32 versions 5 through to 2012, also known as Embarcadero RAD Studio XE2, and the Delphi for .NET syntax extensions for Delphi for .NET versions 8 through to 2007.

To install CodeHealer, simply UNZIP the CodeHealer ZIP file to a temporary folder and then run SETUP.EXE.

The first time that CodeHealer is run, and on a regular basis thereafter, it will prompt to automatically check our Web site for updates, and display a message if there are any available. In respect of your privacy, no identifying information of any kind ever leaves your computer during the check. Please refer to the Help file for more information.

The Trial version will work for a period of 30 days from the date of installation, at which time it will stop working and prompt you to visit our Web site at www.codehealer.com to order the full product.

The only other limitation of the Trial version is that a maximum of 5 analysis failures can be exported to an external report file or copied to the Windows Clipboard. This limit obviously does not apply in the full licensed version of CodeHealer.

By default, CodeHealer 2.8 will install itself in a new folder for version 2.8, so will co-exist with any older versions that you may already have installed, but it will use the same default folders for configuration and project files as CodeHealer 2.6 and 2.5 and will install the updated IDE Wizard DLLs in your Borland and CodeGear IDEs.

It is completely backwards compatible with versions 2.6 and 2.5, however, so 2.8, 2.6 and 2.5 can update and use the same project files and settings (with the exception of earlier versions of CodeHealer not recognising or allowing the latest versions of Delphi as the version of Delphi to emulate when performing the analysis).
