How it works...

Let me use email as an example. Usually, the things you send via email are not sensitive and you dont care who reads it. However, sometimes you need to send sensitive information to one or more specific people. The sensitive parts of this email need to be encrypted. Here are the steps to do this using Cut-n-Paste Crypto.

1: Run Cut-n-Paste Crypto
2: Type in your key in the Key field. Think of this as the password to the text you wish to encrypt. The longer the key and the harder to guess, the more secure it will be.
3: Type in the text you wish to encrypt in the Plain text field. You may also paste text into this field. If you wish to have more than one paragraph, use CTRL+ENTER to get the carriage return and line feed (instead of just the ENTER key).
4: Click the Change Plain text to Cypher text button and the encrypted text will appear in the Cypher text field. Cut the cipher text and paste it in your email and send it.

When the trusted person receives the email, they will repeat this process in reverse to read the message.

1: Run Cut-n-Paste Crypto
2: Type in the key in the Key field. Obviously, this trusted person must have the same key you used to encrypt the message.
3: Copy the encrypted text from the email and paste it into the Cypher text field.
4: Click the Change Cypher text to Plain text button and the decrypted text will appear in the Plain text field.

Recommendations on the use of keys:

- The longer your key is, the more secure the encryption of your messages will be.
- The more random a key is, the more secure it is. Ideally, it should be a very long string of totally random characters, but be practical. At least, do not make it something obvious.
- Change your key often. The best approach is to change your key with every message, but again be practical.

Recommendations on sending encrypted messages:

- Make sure the person receiving the message knows what to copy and paste into the Cypher text field to properly decrypt the message. For instance, you could say that any encrypted messages will be included between lines of dashes as follows.

----------
jksfyf774r98023**&ijd8098
----------

So, the one receiving the message would only copy and paste jksfyf774r98023**&ijd8098 into the Cypher field.

Question: Why should I order and register Cut-n-Paste Crypto?
Answer: Three reasons: 1 A registered copy does not display the annoying nag screens, 2 An unregistered copy can only be used 100 times, 3 A registered copy helps us pay the bills and continue to support and develop software.

When you purchase Cut-n-Paste Crypto, you will be licensed to run two copies. One for yourself and the other for a recipient of your encrypted messages. This will allow you to communicate back and forth in a discrete manner.

To order Cut-n-Paste Crypto, do the following:
