Service properties

The following properties are available for a Service part:

Property Description
@xml Contains data used to interact with Web Services Description Language (WSDL) files.
@bindService Binds service variables to services.
alias Incorporates a string (enclosed in quotation marks) into the names of generated output. If you do not specify an alias, the service name is used instead.
allowUnqualifiedItemReferences Specifies whether your code can omit container and substructure qualifiers when referencing fields in structured records.
handleHardIOErrors Determines whether a service continues to run after a hard error has occurred on an I/O operation in a try block.
includeReferencedFunctions Determines whether a service includes all standalone functions for the package.
localSQLScope Determines whether identifiers for SQL result sets and prepared statements are local to the current service.
textLiteralDefaultIsString Determines how EGL should assign a type to literals that do not have a specific type designation. Used with programs migrated from VisualAge® Generator.
throwNrfEofExceptions Determines whether a soft error causes an exception to be thrown.
v60ExceptionCompatibility Determines whether to use an older form of exception handling.
