To deploy a Java™ application
outside of JEE, follow these steps:
- Follow the procedure detailed in Installing the EGL runtime code for Java.
- Export the generated code into JAR files, remembering to include
generated output files that have extensions other than .java; for
example, jasper and properties files.
- Export any manually written Java code
into JAR files.
- Include the exported files in the classpath of the target system.
Providing access to non-EGL JAR files
Before
deploying your code, add entries for non-EGL JAR files to the project's Java build path:
- In the Project Explorer view, right-click your Java project and click Properties.
- At the left of the Properties page, click Java Build
Path.
- When the section called Java Build
Path is displayed at the right of the page, click the Libraries tab.
- For each jar file to be added, click Add External Jars and
use the Browse mechanism to select the file.
- To close the Properties page, click OK.
