When you generate Java™ code,
the truncateExtraDecimals build descriptor
option specifies whether additional digits will be dropped or rounded
off if a given numeric value has more digits after the decimal point
than the target can store.
Values
- YES (the default value)
- Causes digits beyond the storage limit to be dropped (for example,
if the numeric value 1123.456 was assigned to num(5,1),
the result would be a value of 1123.4).
- NO
- Causes digits beyond the storage limit to be rounded off (for
example, if the numeric value 1123.456 was assigned
to num(5,1), the result would be a value of 1123.5).
