Commenting lines of code

In EGL, you can add comments in your code. EGL ignores any text that is commented.
You can comment a single line of code at once, or you can create a block of commented lines.

To comment lines, either type the comment characters or tell the EGL editor which lines to comment. To comment lines of code in the EGL editor:

  1. In the EGL editor, select one or more lines of code.
  2. Right-click the selected lines and then click Comment. Comment indicators (//) are placed at the beginning of each line in the selected range.

To uncomment lines, use similar procedures but select Uncomment instead of Comment.
