Private Key

Setting a private key will make it effectively impossible to determine your master password from any site password by brute force attack without the private key (even if you have a weak master passphrase). Just be sure that you never lose your private key file!

If you were using an older version of Entropass without a private key, you may need to use the button below to enable backwards compatibility. This will overwrite the private key if one is currently saved.

Passphrase Verification

If you enter your passphrase below, a hash of it will be saved in order to verify that you type the same passphrase every time. If you type a different passphrase on accident, you will be alerted.
