Content expiration for images

• Open IIS and select you filestogether/images folder.

    

• Right click and select “properties” from the popup menu.

You will then see the “images Properties” screen

• Click on the “HTTP Headers” tab.

• Click on the Enable Content Expiration checkbox

• Set the Expire after to be 90 days (or what ever you want it to be).

• Click Apply

• Click OK

Images will now be cached on the client browser giving your end users a better experience
