Chapter 13 - File Types

Fluition supports a wide range of streaming media file formats. Below is a list of all of the file types that Fluition supports directly when building the SMIL code. Fluition determines the clip type based on the file type and name.

Important: Remember, though Fluition supports the various media types listed here, the Players you are using as well as the streaming method you are using may limit you to using files supported by the Player or streaming server. (See the Chapter on Players for more information)
