Instructions:
To filter articles by category, select or de-select the categories on the menu. To receive desktop notifications when new articles are published, select Enable Alerts on the Google Gadget configuration dialog after installing the Gator News Ticker.

The news articles are pulled from University of Florida News. Sports stories are gathered from GatorZone.com.

This plugin has been tested on Windows XP SP2 running .NET version 2.0, and the latest version of Google Desktop.
