In order to get a statistic output from GCStatistic you first have to import a special gpx file. There are several ways to request/get this gpx file. GCStatistic can perform the request for you if you have a premium geocaching account.

Automated request (requires geocaching premium membership)

  • Enter your geocaching login name and password into the fields (top left if you just started GCStatistic).
  • Press the 'Request gpx file' button
  • Wait until GCStatistic detects that your query is available for download.
  • Since 1.7.5 Beta 1 GCStatistic automatically download and import the required gpx file. If you don't want this feature disable it in the settings window.

Manual request (requires geocaching premium membership)

  • Use your preferred browser to log into your geocaching account.
  • Navigate to the 'Build Pocket Queries' page (use the menu on the right)
  • Press the 'Add to Queue' button located under your query table.
  • Wait for the mail send by Groundspeak and save the attached zip file to any destination you like
  • Import this zip file (can be extracted and imported as gpx file also)
