Gran Turismo 2 -- Walk Thru

A Walk-Thru for Gran Turismo 2.

Dear all you novice's out there to Gran Turismo 2, this little 'walk-thru' (I guess you can call it that) is designed just FOR YOU!
I know you love this game but you SUCK AT IT! I fell you're pain! I used to be like that, untill I made up this help thingy!
I also know that there is NOT A SINGLE REAL CHEAT CODE out for GT2, sorry to burst you're bubble!
This is pretty much the EASIEST way to get really good at the game, within like a week.
Just SIMPLY follow the 10 EASY steps, and you'll be on you're way to victory in GT2!

*** PLEASE NOTE: it may/will take awhile to complete EVERYTHING I mentioned in this walk-thru ***

FOR THOSE WHO DON'T GET OUT ALOT:
grand = $1,OOO
soupe it up = update, get better, upgrade, ect.,...
$$$$$$ = money, cash, green, good stuff, stuff that you buy stuff with
"" = stuff in quotes is what it is called in the game
sick = good thing, cool, mint, sweet, ect.,...

** = What you absoluty NEED to complete.

WALK-THRU:

1) First, get your **B, A, IC, IB**, licenses (IB is the hardest, I think, keep on trying, you'll get it...I promise)

2) Buy a cheap and shitty car, (since you only start off with $10,000), so get something about $2000-$5000 and soupe it up as much, untill you run outta $$$$$.

3) Race in GT League untill you get about $26,000-$30,000 (it takes awhile, I know...It's worth it!), and buy a Suzuki Alta Works (approx. $24,000 for a '98), in the "NEW" car line up, not cheap-ass used mother f*ckers.

4) Go to Suzuki's "EVENTS", and race the "Alta Works Challenge".

5) You get $3,000 for each first place, so keep on winnin' 'till you got about $101,000, and buy the SICKEST rally car called the "FORD RS200 RALLY CAR", it's pretty fast and heavy (319hp, 2900lb).

6) Go to "RALLY EVENTS" (or whatever it says...I can't remember EXACTLY everything you know!), and go to the "TAHAITA RACE" and race it...YOU DON'T HAVE AN OPPONENT!!!!!!! NO POSSIBLE WAY TO LOOSE !!! This means no matter what, you WILL win $10,000 !!!! EACH !!!! lap! (there is only 1 lap you have to do, not 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 or 7 or 8 or 9 or 237123612721 or 127234...I think you get the message)

7) I did this untill I got up to $200,000, it took a while but you don't HAVE to, but it's worth it!! (HINT, HINT!) Then I MAJORLLY souped it up (max.: hp, weight reduction, accel., everything!)

8) After it's souped up, go to "SPECIAL EVENTS", then go to the "LUXURY CUP", and race the 2nd race, win 1st place, and you get: $6,000 AND a $10,000 luxury car! (which I usually sell..easy money. It's sort of shit but hey, it's freakin' free!) For a total (if you sell it) $16,000 EACH RACE!!!

9) Then go and get your ** "IA" ** license, and buy a "DODGE VIPER GTS" or a "DODGE VIPER RT/10" (I preffer the GTS...), soupe it up to it's max.,...or almost... and go to "SPECIAL EVENTS", then "MUSCLES CAR CLASS", and race the 2nd race, if you win 1st place, you get: $8,000 AND a $75,000 "COBRA 427" for EACH RACE for a total (again, if you sell the car) of $83,000! Talk about easy money!

10) GOOD LUCK! HAVE FUN!! DON'T WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT!!!
