InfoNow is a database program to log and track any type of information in a format that allows quick and easy sorting and retrieval. Find it fast and easy with InfoNow.
Data stored is quickly sorted in table view, allowing you to view data in any user defined category, making it quick and easy to find any information you may quickly need. It is especially useful for quickly finding website login information, passwords, etc.
Note: Data entered into passwords, account numbers, etc., is not encrypted and is not secure from prying eyes. I'm not worried about this as I use abbreviations for my passwords I list here and by looking quickly at the abbreviation I will know what the password is for that site. I hate having to enter a password to get at encrypted or hidden data, so while this app doesn't offer that option, it works better for me since I can get at the data quicker and easier, which is what I wanted and why I wrote this application to begin with.
Click on Edit Type on the main form to load the Edit Types form and quickly add or delete the categories in the Type field, adding any Type designation that you may desire.
When in table view, select a Type category from the drop-down list and the table will quickly sort the data by that category. Quick and easy to find what you're looking for. Select All to view all records. Click on a record in table view to go to that record for editing or reviewing. Scroll up or down the table by using with the rocker buttons on the PDA device, or using the up/down arrows on the table view form.
Note: If you wish, install the supplied database named dbInfoCats.pdb to your PDA as well, which will give you a predefined set of Type categories. They can of course be edited in the Edit Type form to suit your needs.
When using the drawing screen, use the Graffiti shift stroke (same as used for making a capital letter), to change your stylus to an eraser for use on the drawing screen. When done erasing on the screen, use the Graffiti shift again to resume drawing. Use the Clear Draw button to erase the entire screen.
If using the Trial version of InfoNow, it is a fully functional version of the registered version. However, it will cease to operate after 14 days. Registration will be required at that time to continue using the program.

Registration
Registering the program removes the inital info screens, loading
the program directly to the main screen at startup. Registering also gains
access to the reports printing capabilities to print out your InfoNow data.
Lastly, registering supports this programs future development, gains you tech
support via email and free future updates. Please register to support the program
and gain long term use of the program.
Register InfoNow at Handango, PalmGear, via PayPay or directly with us via email. If registering via PayPal, please send USD $4.00 to OkCompuPro@aol.com. We offer a 20% discount if paying via PayPal to promote PayPal use. Registering at Handango or PalmGear is USD $5.00. We can offer the PayPal discount due the fees charged us when you register via Handango or PalmGear. If registering via PayPal, mention that you are registering InfoNow, and the full registered version will be sent to you as soon as possible, normally the same day and within a few hours if possible. Requirements
InfoNow should be combatible with any PDAs utilizing the Palm operating system 3.1 or above.
Installation
Installation is consistant with standard Palm OS installation techniques. Add the appropriate supplied .prc file to your syncronizing program and hot-synch the device to install the program. After installation, re-direct the application to the appropriate category of your choosing.
Upgrading from the Trial version to the Full version, is as simple as installing the Full version over the Trial version. No loss of data should normally occur. By installing either application, you fully agree with all terms and conditions of this document.
During development of this application, extensive testing has occurred, both on actual PDA devices of various types, and on the Palm OS emulator. All efforts have been made to insure the application performs as designed, however, as with all development environments, future findings of limitations or operating flaws may occur. All efforts will be made to correct any such occurances and updated software will be made available to all users in the event any problems can be properly remedied.
License
InfoNow is being released as shareware for a very small fee. Free updates and future versions will be available to all users purchasing InfoNow. If you desire to be added to the distribution list for upgrades, email me at: OkCompuPro@aol.com and we will advise you of future upgrades.
This software is not to be included with any commercial software or any public domain/shareware package sold for profit without proper written consent from CompuPro Computer Services.
