New Features:
- Added support for Secure Token Service (STS) integration. STS profiles
are configured using the Admin tab. STS policies can be enabled by editing a Web
service object and selecting the applicable profile name in the Security Policies section.
- Added validation of WS-Security parameters as a policy option for Web services.
This includes validation of certificates and encryption.
When used as an XML firewall, JaxView can handle validation of WS-Security information
rather than having this handled by each service endpoint.
- Added a new WS-Policy tool. The tool can be used to validate or
normalize policy expressions or it can merge or find the intersection of
two policy expressions. The tool is accessed via the Admin tab.
- Support for using an IBM DB2 database for JaxView data storage and configuration
sharing. New database query syntax files are included to support popular database
products. Users will need to manually edit the main.properties file to use the
product-specific database syntax for the database they will be using.
- A new lock icon is added to help visually indicate if security policies
are enabled for individual Web services being managed by JaxView.
- Added a View Messages report type to the action menu for Web service objects.
This report allows the user to view a list of messages to the Web service for
a selected time interval. Messages can be selected and saved for reference
in troubleshooting, testing,
or service level management.
Changes:
- The Service Error Monitor type is renamed to the Service Compliance Monitor. New
event types are also added to the monitor type.
- Added validation routines to the WS-Policy feature in the Admin tab. When new
WS-Policy expressions are added, JaxView will run a validation check on the expression
before adding it.
- Added an option for using a custom class file for enforcement of WS-Policies.
This is an alternative to using a XPath Policy Expression in the JaxView WS-Policy object
configuration.

the Summary, Message list, Faults, governance Policies, and Errors for a given context.
- HTTP Tool for sending test HTTP requests to a service endpoint
- Support for sending alerts multiple times after an initial number of events are detected
- Activation schedule support for content-based message routing policies
- Support for Per service message archiving for selecting the number of days to save messages for
a specific service
- When used as a proxy JaxView can exchange messages with a Web service the requires an SSL connection
- A new option that when set it will make that JaxView server only capture/sniff
packets and write those packets to the data storage database. Another
option is added where a JaxView server can be set to read the stored packets
from a table in the database and process them for monitoring, alerting, and reporting.

- Service discovery method column is added to the Services summary table.
- Addition of threshold column to monitor summary list in operation node.
- Support for blocking requests to specific operations in a Web service.
- An example calculator Web service is added to the system if no other services are present.
