You must install the VB6 run time files on your computer before
installing KidBasic. You dont need to do this if you already have them
installed. If in doubt, install the VB8 run time files anyway, doing so
will not harm your computer.
Follow the steps below to install VB6
service pack 5 runtime files on your computer system before installing
KidBasic.
- 1. Open the CD or downloaded folder containing the KidBasic Software
Package.
- 2. Locate the file folder named "V".
- 3. Open the folder and double-click on the file named
"MS_Update".
- 4. Click OK to install VB 6 Run Time Files.
- 5. You will not get a confirmation on your screen (Microsoft did
not provide one for this product). However if you do not
immediately get an error message once all installation activity
on your screen has ceased, then the product has been successfully
installed. |
