

General Description

     The MicroBase Data Exchange provides a central neighborhood  where flat databases and matrices may be created and maintained.

MicroBase will accept data from a variety of sources such as:

Keyboard
MicroBase Text Files
ASCII Text Files
Access  .MDB files
Access Text Files
Excel Text Files
*.csv Files (naked or quoted)

MicroBase will output any of these files to ASCII formats providing a controlled environment for data exchange.

MicroBase provides extensive database management features such as:

Sort
Merge
Snapshot prints of records
Find any text string
Edit in ASCII or ANSI(key-code)
Show any record
Bookmark data while editing
Copy and paste rows and columns
Delete rows and columns
Add records and columns before or after a mark
Data Console - for comfortable navigation
Evolving  statistical and mathematical options
Shell out to your application programs

The MicroBase   data console  makes the above processes an intuitive task.
