Summary Statistics

     The summary statistics presented are:

                                                         Measures of Central Tendency and
                                                         Measures of Variance

The Measures of Central Tendency are:
                                                         Mean
                                                         Median and
                                                         Mode

These measures provide a convenient form for comparing large amounts of data.
The Mean is the arithmetic average of all of the elements of the data.
The Median(or midddlemost element) is a more accurate measure for skewed distributions.
The Mode is the most frequently occuring element in a distribution.
Skewness(Sk) is also provided. A positive Sk indicates Mode>Median>Mean. A negative Sk reverses this order.

     The Measures of Variance are:
                                                        Range
                                                        Standard Deviation and
                                                        Variance

These measures give information about how much the elements differ.
The Range is just the wideness of the distribution.
The Standard Deviation(SD) <the heart and soul of variation> indicates by how much the all of the elements
     differ.
       Variance=SD^2.
Kurtosis(Ku) indicates the shape of the distrubution(large=flat-small=peaked).
