Refreshing the display

To refresh the display, in the menu pa­nel click the Refresh ope­ra­tion link.

Change the styles

From the list to the right side, select a style sheet by clicking. You will immediately see the effect.

The feed displayed

Testing a feed means to veri­fy it dis­play­ed as it would be when em­bed­ded in any web page:

• The feed, including all the mes­sa­ges as­sig­ned to it, is pro­vi­ded by the mmf/Feeder com­po­nent. This is the sa­me com­po­nent that does pro­vide it when re­ques­ted  from with­in a web page, or when you re­quest it as an RSS or ATOM feed.
• The presentation is governed by a sty­le sheet fi­le. The stan­dard fi­le …/styles/mmfeed.css is in­clu­ded here. You can use the sa­me fi­le for your own pur­po­ses. Chan­ges of sty­le de­fi­ni­tions in this fi­le will have an ef­fect here too.

The links

Just below the embedded feed you find two links. When you click it the feed will be shown in a new win­dow of your brow­ser, or by a stand­alo­ne feed rea­der you have con­fi­gu­red, in one of these for­mats:

• RSS formatted
• ATOM formatted

Generating a sample web page

To gene­ra­te the co­de for a sam­ple page of your feed (em­bed­ded) click the Sample page (code) ope­ra­tion link in the menu pa­nel.
