Introduction

mmf/Editor is a component of methodica's mes­sage fee­der pro­duct (MMF). MMF sto­res feeds and mes­sa­ges in a data­base (MySQL). An un­li­mi­ted num­ber of feeds may exist at a time. And each feed may be assig­ned an un­li­mi­ted num­ber of mes­sa­ges.

The mes­sa­ges are pro­vi­ded in one of these formats:

• RSS,
• ATOM, and
• HTML.

An on­line edi­tor (brow­ser ba­sed) al­lows for ad­mi­ni­ste­ring feeds and mes­sa­ges.

And, an e-mail impor­ter allows for adding mes­sa­ges, in a pre­de­fi­ned for­mat, that have been sent to a mail­box.

Calling the Editor

In the link field of your browser type this URL:

This will bring up the page des­cri­bed under Page layout.

Notes:

• Enter the correct host name instead of www.yourdomain.tld.
• The sub­di­rec­to­ry may dif­fer from mmfeed if the ad­mini­stra­tor spe­ci­fied a dif­ferent name du­ring product set-up.

Choosing a different language

You might wish to choose a dif­fe­rent lan­guage from the lan­gua­ges in­stal­led. To do so add a question mark plus the pa­ra­me­ter l=language_code to the re­quest you en­ter in the link field, e.g. http://www.yourdomain.tld/mmfeed/admin?l=de.

If you choose a language that is not cur­rent­ly instal­led mmf/Editor will de­fault to en-GB.
