Reading messages
The messages shown in the panel titled "Dynamic Contents :: NEWS" are
updated in 60-second intervals from a database.
The message stream can be viewed
- in
RSS format or
ATOM format
Most modern browser generically support these formats.
There are also stand-alone RSS / ATOM readers available (e.g.
RssReader),
- embedded in a web page
(like this one),
- in a separate page.
Editing messages
The message database can be administered
- online with the help of the message feed editor
or
- through e-mail messages following predefined subject and
text format rules
(needs either CRON on Unix/Linux systems or AT command on
Windows systems).
