Microsoft Terminal Server Client or Windows Remote Desktop Support for:

Windows 7 and Windows 2008 Server

PWDManager requires Administrative access...

For computers running Windows 7 or Windows 2008 turn off User Account Control, Windows Firewall and IPFiltering. To resolve computer NetBIOS names be sure that Nebios over IP is enabled and if required use the built in lmhosts file creator to create an lmhosts file to resolve NetBIOS over IP.

Windows Browser Service

In order for PWDManager to find and identify computers on the network be sure that File and Print Sharing is turned for the remote servers, NetBios broadcasts are not turned off on routers and switches, DNS and or WINS is operational and the computer are pingable by name, Remote Registry Services must be running and the drive letters are shared as C$, D$ E$ etc. with the Administrative share shared as Admin$.

If computers are not reachable by name, create an LMhost file for each computer involved with PWDManager.
