NetWatcher Installation and Uninstall
NetGuarder NetWatcher consists of two components: Server and
Client. Before installing any part of NetWatcher, you had better
make sure you have downloaded the latest version from
www.NetGuarder.com or gotten the
NetWatcher CD from NetGuarder.
NetWatcher Server Installation and Uninstall
Server Installation
NetWatcher Monitor Installation
On the computer by which you want to supervise other computers, run
NetWatcherServerEN.exe file to
install NetWatcher Monitor. Following the steps install shield
gives, you can install Monitor successfully. For better supervision
performance, please make sure Monitor own enough network bandwidth.
NetWatcher Log Server Installation
On the computer by which you want to collect and manage screen
images, URL access, program run and keystroke input log data of all
NetWatcher Clients,
run NetWatcherLogServiceEN.exe
file to install NetWatcher Log Server. Following the steps install
shield gives, you can install Log Server successfully. For better
supervision performance, please make sure Log Server own enough
network bandwidth.
Server Uninstall
NetWatcher Monitor Uninstall
You can uninstall NetWatcher Monitor from Windows Start (->Settings)
->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs.
NetWatcher Log Server Uninstall
You can uninstall NetWatcher Log Server from Windows Start
(->Settings) ->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs.
NetWatcher Client Installation and Uninstall
Client Installation
On the computer which you want to be controlled by Server, run
NetWatcherClientEN.exe file to
install NetWatcher Client. Following the steps install shield
gives, you can install Client successfully. For additional
computers, you have to repeat this action to install Client on
different computers.
Client Uninstall
As NetWatcher Client runs as a system program, you can not delete
it directly, but you can remove Client from Monitor program by
selecting Monitor main menu Actions->Delete Client to
remove Clients from all computers or use Monitor pop menu Delete
Client to remove all or selected Clients. The removal of Client
will restore corresponding system configuration after remote
computers restart.
