NetWatcher v2.9
Add Client
Click main menu “Add Client” to add NetWatcher Client manually. NetWatcher Monitor could detect Clients automatically in LAN.

Add a computer: Input a computer name or IP address to add a computer which is NetWatcher Client. Please make sure NetWatcher Client software is installed in that computer.

Scan a network segment: Input a network segment, for example 192.168.10.0, and let NetWatcher Monitor scan the whole segment and add found Clients to supervision list automatically.

Hint: The number of supervised NetWatcher Clients is up to the License number of Clients.

Hint: In order to get IP address of a computer, you can input “cmd” at Windows Start->Run and then input “ipconfig –all” in the DOS Windows to get all IP information for the computer. Please input the IP address, which belongs to the same network segment as NetWatcher Monitor, to add the Client.

Hint: For the computer without a fixed IP address, that is the computer is using a dynamic IP assigned by a DHCP server, please use the Email Report function of NetWatcher Monitor or use Dynamic Domain Name Service (DDNS) to take NetWatcher supervision. DDNS is an Internet service to bind a dynamic IP address to a fixed domain name. After you bind a domain name to your computer, you can input the domain name instead of IP address to add Client. Please consult DDNS provider for more information.

Hint: After adding Client, NetWatcher Monitor will show whether it is successful or not in the supervision panel. It may take some time to add Client for network delay or computer performance factor.
