"Easy to use backup software"
Pros: I find the program easy to use, functional and suited to my backup needs which are fairly basic at best. I like the fact that I can apply differential backups which help keep the backup times reasonably fast.
Cons: No comment

"Great program, easy to use, works on my 64 bit system."
Pros: I first loaded Norton Ghost 9 and this caused all sorts of trouble due to incompatibility issues. Tried Acronis True Image 11 and again, it would not work with my system. I found this proggie while cruising the net and the performance blew me away!
Cons: Thus far, I have not come across anything that I don't like about this product. Perhaps, with further use I may come across some minor shortcoming but I won't really be looking because after all, it works and.....IT'S FREE!
Summary: As mentioned, my paid versions of disk image software were not compatible with my system. The Acronis True Image 11 Home would not even find my hard drives when I tried to use the recovery function. It is touted as x64 compatible but it would not work for me.
My system is Intel Core i7 processor on an Asus P6T X58 Socket LGA1366 motherboard with 12 Gigs DDR3 RAM, dual GeForce GTX 260 black edition graphics cards, and 1000W PSU, running Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. The Paragon Backup and Recovery Free Edition 10.1 was the first and only program that I found that would function with my system. There may well be others that would do the job but after installing and using this program, I saw absolutely no reason to look any further. The interface is well thought out, easily understandable, and highly functional. On its trial run, I found it easy to create a disk image of my operating system drive. When I tried to recover my operating system disk, the operation went smoothly and successfully. It had to pass this trial before I could trust it, because of what happened (didn't happen)with my other programs. Best of all it is FREE, something very important to me since I have limited cash and I blew all of it on this monster system. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Paragon for thinking of us little, cash strapped, personal home users and putting this GREAT product out there for us. Please keep up the good work, it is much appreciated!
