PHP Documentation Tool Evaluation Version

Thanks for downloading the evaluation version of the PHP Documentation Tool.

If you want to document .NET Framework applications or ASP web applications, a .NET Documentation Tool and an ASP Documentation Tools are available from our website.

Quick Start

Double click on the Run_SampleWeb.bat file. This will cause the PHP Documentation Tool to document the SampleWeb PHP files in the SampleWeb.PHP folder. The output is placed in the Output folder. Edit this .bat file and modify the input and output folder options to document your own project(s).

Detailed Usage

Documentation is available in the accompanying .chm help file that fully describes the command line options supported by the Windows executable file (PHPDocumentationTool.exe).

Limitations in Evaluation Version

• Only the first 150 lines of PHP source code are shown for each file.
• The text output option does not work.
• Annoying pop-up window on PHP/SQL stored procedure source code pages.
• This version can only be used for evaluation purposes.

Each copy of the PHP Documentation Tool may only be used on a single machine, and be used by a single organisation. Your registration code will allow you to download the PHP Documentation Tool for up to 18 months after the date of purchase (3 years for site licenses). During this time you are entitled to any new versions that may be released.

The PHPDocumentationTool.exe file is created by IndigoSTAR Software's Perl2Exe and contains run-time portions of Perl2Exe. No registered user, nor anyone else, may alter or modify the generated Exe file. You cannot give anyone else permission to modify the Exe files.
