Release Notes:

PowerCom 2.45 features some functions improvement and  some interface modification with details as followed. 
1. Add Polling Detail from Data Review. At the previous versions, Polling Detail is only availabe when the user click "Polling detail" or press the short cut key "D" during the slide show. Since this version the users can review the polling details any time after the voting by choosing Polling Detail from Data Review.
2. Likert Scale question type used to have the max. range from 0 to 9. Since this version, the maximum range of the likert scale is from 0 to 29.
3. Add more parameters setting to Gobal Change. And "save as default" is availabel at Global Change.
4. Add "Switch PowerCom" option at PowerCom->System.
5. Add "Disconnect Base" option at PowerCom->Device.
6. Since this version PowerCom provides the opnion of inserting new slides to show the winner information. At the previous versions, Winner information is shown up on a pop up screen when right mouse click Poller and choose Winner. Right now the users can go to PowerCom->New to insert the winner slides. These winner slides will be inserted after the question slide. After the voting, the user just goes to the next slide during the slide show and the winner information will be displayed on next slides. There are 4 winner slides available from PowerCom->New. They are Fastest Finger, Individual Cumulative, Team Scores, Cumulative Team Scores.
7. Change Roster/Team workflow.
8. The users can set up Label Font size at Step 4 of Poller Wizard.
9. Move Auto Play Setting to PowerCom Default Setup.
10. Add "Auto Play", "PowerCom Default Setup", and "Roster file settnig" at PowerCom Confirmation Screen.
11. Add "start music" at Poller Tab
12. Add "Display Slide info" for "continue the session from the current slide" from PowerCom Confirmation screen.
13. Range question type will show "total" under the graphic bars after the voting.
14. Change the calculation rule for Team Score and Cumulative Team Score from the Winner. Originally team score used the summerized value of individual scors from the same team when ranking the teams. Since this version, the average value will be used. For Cumulative Team Score, it will use the summerized average scores from the voted slides.
15. There will be the reminding message when the user chooses to vote as a new session when there is an xml file available for the current PowerPoint file.
16. Since this version, all question types are available for the trial version.
17. Add "save as default" at Slide Comparison Screen. The correct answer will flash if there is one at Slide Comparsion Screen. The Label size and font and the background color will be synchronized with the Poller setting.
18. There is no need to connect the base station again if the user uses the demo mode first then goes for the real voting as long as the base station is connected at the first place.
19. FOr silent auction, the systme will send back Submission Confirmation or Outbid Reminding message when the keypad sends out the bid or it is outbid. The users can request the current highest bid information by text messaging the item number.(only available for Plus keypads)
20. The system will check and remind "PowerCom can't be installed for Office 2010 64 bit" during the installation when PowerCOm is installed for Office 2010.

1. OVERVIEW
======================

PowerCom is a Microsoft PowerPoint add-in software that allows the presenter to run polls in a meeting or during a presentation. By using PowerCom along with wireless keypads, the presenter can collect audience's responses and record polling data and choose to display the resulting data in a graph immediately or afterwards.

Note: This version of PowerCom includes PowerCom Worldwide and PowerCom Plus. PowerCom Ativa download per request.

It is used with Microsoft PowerPoint, and supports the following versions:
        - Microsoft Office 2007
        - Microsoft Office 2010 32 bit

It also support Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista 32bit 64bit, Windows 7 32bit 64bit.

To use PowerCom you need to first have the following software installed on your computer:
	- Microsoft PowerPoint
	- Microsoft Word
	- Microsoft Excel

It is highly recommended that the latest versions for Operation system and Office system are installed before installing PowerCom.

After the PowerCom installation, a PowerCom menu will be added at PowerPoint Menu. Please follow the below steps to start your experience with PowerCom.
	a. Follow step by step demo of the "Sample.ppt" and run slide show in the demo mode to experience the benefits of PowerCom.
	b. Read Quick Setup Guide, PowerCom Function At Glance and Online Help to learn more functions and features of PowerCom.
	c. Plug in base station and the base station driver will be installed automatically.
	d. Activate PowerCom from Trial version to Full version. There are 3 ways of activation, details please refer to Quick Setup Guide or Online Help.
        e. Test the keypads.
	f. Open a new PowerPoint file. Design the question slide and insert the poller.
        g. Start polling.
