This QuickStart document describes the fastest way to install rDirectory Community Edition.  

· IMPORTANT-Upgrading From 1.4 or 1.3.x.htm

This document contains important information for those upgrading from rDirectory 1.4 or 1.3.x  to rDirectory 1.4.1

· Setup - rDirectory.msi

This will install rDirectiory 1.4 Community Edition and run the Site Manager.

· Namescape rDirectory 1.4 - Installation and Setup Guide.pdf

This Guide steps you through the process of installing the product for use with either Active Directory or ADAM. The Installation and Setup process will take less than 10 minutes.

· Namescape rDirectory 1.4 – Using rDirectory Community Edition.pdf

This Guide steps you through the features available in the Community Edition of rDirectory.  Completing this guide will take approximately 20 minutes. 

Free Community Edition Description

This package contains the FREE Community Edition of rDirectory which provides organizations with a free, professional web-based Employee Directory including the ability for end-users to self-service their Global Address List (GAL) information. 

Our full-featured editions offers significant additional functionality not shown in the Community Edition, including:

· Fully customizable Catalogs that can leverage the entire schema and create multiple search applications for different users / resources / views

· Role-based access control at all levels of the product

· Self-Service and Delegated Administration with Data Integrity controls, Audit Logs, and Email notifications

· Web Forms that integrate other websites such as SharePoint Services

· Integrated Help Desk Password Reset using Q&A profiles (an optional self-service password reset portal is also available)

· Group membership management including the ability to create self-subscription email distribution lists

Initially, the Community Editon will install as a 45 day evaluation copy.  After your evaluation, if you would like to deploy this Community Edition, we ask only that you visit www.namescape.conm and register to receive your FREE non-expiring Community License Key.
