Crystal Reports for Eclipse Designer Guide

To insert subreports

  1. On the Palette, click Subreport.
The program displays an object frame.
  2. Move the frame where you want it to appear in the report, and click once to place it.
  3. To change the subreport's properties, go to the "Properties" view, and change the values in the Subreport area.
For example, you can change the name of the subreport, link the subreport data, and so on.
  4. To add fields and other objects to the subreport, double-click its frame.
When you double-click, the program takes you to a new design view for the subreport.

Tip: You can switch back and forth from your subreport to your main report by using the Return to Main Report and Switch to Subreport options on the context menu.
