To create a plug-in project that includes Crystal Reports libraries

This example shows how to create a plug-in project that includes Crystal Reports extension point libraries. Adding these libraries enables you to access Crystal Reports extension points and report modification classes.
  1. Click File > New > Other.
    The "New" wizard appears.
  2. Expand Plug-in Development, select Plug-in Project and click Next.
    The "Plug-in Project" screen appears.
  3. Type the project name in the Project name field and click Next.
    For example, type MyProject.
    The "Plug-in Content" screen appears.
  4. Click Finish.
  5. In the Project Explorer, expand META-INF.
  6. Right-click MANIFEST.MF, and point toOpen With > Plug-in Manifest Editor.
    The Plug-in Manifest Editor displays the plug-in project settings.
  7. Click the Dependencies tab.
    The Dependencies tab displays.
  8. Next to Required Plug-ins, click Add.
    The Plug-in Selection dialog box appears.
  9. Select com.businessobjects.crystalreports.designer.sdk and click OK.
  10. Click File > Save.
A new plug-in project is created that includes the Crystal Reports Designer SDK.
