RoundUp

Description
RoundUp returns a number that has been rounded up.
Overloads

  • RoundUp (x, #places)
  • Arguments
  • x is real number to be rounded.
  • #places is a whole number indicating the number of decimal places x is to be rounded to.
  • Returns
    Number
    Action
    This function rounds up (away from zero).
    Examples
    RoundUp(4.1,0)
    Returns 5.
    RoundUp(5.34)
    Returns 6.
    RoundUp(6.36521,3)
    Returns 6.366.
    RoundUp(-6.36521,3)
    Returns -6.366.
    RoundUp(50.43,-1)
    Returns 60.
    Comments
  • If #places is greater than 0 (zero), your number is rounded up to the specified number of decimal places.
  • If #places is 0 or unspecified, your number is rounded up to the next integer.
  • If #places is less than 0, your number is rounded up to the left of the decimal point.
