Explorer Default Directory (EDD.EXE)
------------------------------------

The EDD.exe program will allow you to change the default XP and VISTA Explorer Startup
directory to any directory on your system, including Shared ones, without any shortcut
setups, and just a couple of mouse clicks. Once you set your directory preference
there is no need to have EDD.exe running.

Installation:
XP/VISTA Users:
Just Unzip it in a directory of your choice and doubleclick on EDD.EXE.

VISTA Users:
EDD needs to Run as Administrator and you may get a message saying Allow or Cancel, Select
Allow. If you are not allowed Administrator Rights EDD will not work. ALSO, On nestled directories
you need to Right Click and use the Open command, because of the wonderful way Microsoft setup
Vista internals (maybe to break Shell Replacements), Edd would have to have a resident program
(or have major additions and remain running) to avoid this.

Distribution:
Please feel free to distribute this program freely. 1) As long as No fees are received for
it or a package it is included with. 2) Include all files in your distribution.

About The Author:
I have been a systems level developer since 1985, building many diverse systems from Banking
hardware/software automation systems, low level disk utilities, to installable file systems.
I have also contributed to several books, groups, and developers regarding undocumented
internals of OS's, BIOS's, and other systems. I prefer the PASCAL/ASSEMBLER languages
but have used/use many.
