Download Messages
Manually
Automatically
Please run the setup file "Setup.exe" and follow the instruction to install a client program on your personal computer and your Windows Mobile device.
You may download messages manually by clicking on the "lightbulb" icon or through the menu item "Tools > Download" from phone.
Windows Mobile device may show a "busy" icon for a while when working with the messages.
Download Messages Automatically
You may wish to have SMSBee download messages every 5 minutes by selecting the menu item "Tools > Options > Auto Download SMS Every 5 Mins".
You may wish to keep messages that are relatively recent to be kept on the phone for reference.
Select menu item "Tools > Options > Retain Message On Phone".
From the Option window that opens, choose the age of messages to be kept on the phone.
Please note the messages kept on the phone would be downloaded to SMSBee on the PC and so would be available both on PC and phone. When the message is too old according to your preference to be kept on the phone, it will be deleted from the phone and will be available on the PC only.
To delete message on the PC, right click on the message and click "Delete this message". Or click on the "cross" icon". You would be asked for confirmation.
Please note this is irreversible.
To view messages that meet a certain criteria only, you can add Filter.
Right click on the node "SMS" on the left and choose "Add Filter".
A window will open for you to specify the criteria.
Enter the name which would be the name displayed on the left under node "SMS".
Entere the keywords that only messages thast match these keywords would be displayed.
Select if to match the keywords in the sender field, recipient field and/or body of the message. Eg choosing sender and recipient fields would match all messages that are sent to and received from, say, "Dave" if you enter "Dave" as keyword.
You may even like to have only messages that are recent by specifying the age of the messages to match.
Click "OK" to add the filter.
To use the filter, just click on the Filter name on the left of SMSBee application.
To delete the filter, right click on the filter to delete and select "Delete Filter" on the menu that opens.
