SQLCMS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT: SQLCMS requires IIS and the .net Framework v3.5 to be installed.

• IF YOU HAVE IIS7 AND THE WEB DEPLOYMENT TOOL:
  1. Open up IIS manager (start->type 'inetmgr')
  2. Expand your local computer node
  3. Click on Sites
  4. Click on "Default Web Site"
  5. Under "Deploy" on the right side of the window, click "Import Application".
  6. Browse to sqlcms_install.zip
  7. Click Finish.
• OTHERWISE MANUAL INSTALL TO LOCALHOST:
  1. Open up sqlcms_install.zip in Explorer
  2. Copy the SQLCMS directory to c:\inetpub\wwwroot\
  3. Open up IIS
  4. Expand the Sites Node
  5. Expand the Default Web Site node
  6. Right Click on SQLCMS and Click "Convert to Application" click OK
  7. Expand the SQLCMS Node
  8. Right Click on the XML directory and click "Edit Permissions"
  9. Click the Security tab
  10. Click Edit then click Add
  11. Ensure your computer name is selected in the "From this location" field
  12. Enter "Everyone" click OK
  13. Check the "Full control" checkbox
  14. Click OK, click OK.
  15. Repeat for the /JS and /Uploads directories

You're Done! Open http://localhost/SQLCMS/ and follow the setup procedure. If you have any problems please contact us.
