If the HWM does not display correctly on your PC you can
turn this off by adding the command line parameter nosize.
Windows Shortcut Example:
Target: "C:\VIATray.exe" nosize

task bar and place an icon in the system tray.
* You can also start VIATray after VIA HWM is loaded.
Tray Icon Mouse Commands
========================
Right click - Options Menu.
Left click - Toggles HWM view.
Shut Down PC on Alarm
======================
When enabled and the matching VIA HWM alarm is triggered
you will have 5 seconds to abort before the PC is shut off.
If you abort the shutdown, VIA HWM and VIATray will be
closed and must be restarted to use.
Alarm Buzzer Sound
==================
When this option is enabled and a HWM alarm dialog is detected,
a loud annoying buzzer sound will play.
(Sound card w/speakers required)
Force Shut Down
===============
When enabled and an alarm is detected, Windows will be forced to
shut down. All unsaved data in running programs may be lost.
With this option off, Windows may not shut down and your PC may
continue to run!

To bypass this warning and shutdown ASAP, enable this check box.
Test Button
===========
Click this button to test the PC shut down features.
* Save your data before you click!
Skip Msg on Load
================

will display a dialog with the cause of the shutdown, you can skip
these messages by enabling this option.
View Log
========
Click to open the Shutdown Log with NotePad (if one exsists) to view
all the records of when and why your PC was shutdown by VIATray.
The file "ViaTray_ShutDown.txt" will contain the date/time,
VIA HWM alarm and the VIA HWM data such as fan speeds, CPU temp, etc.
This file is saved in the same folder where VIATray.exe is run from and
can be edited to add notes with an editor such as Windows NotePad.
HWM Data
========
* Data is only recorded when VIA HWM is minimized.
When the Data Recorder is enabled it will capture VIA's
HWM data at the set interval.
You can adjust the time interval for captures from less
then
once every minute to once every sixty minutes.
All data is stored in the file
"ViaTray_Rec.txt" created in
the same folder where VIATray.exe is run from. (Comma delimited)

*In order to display the temps correctly in the system tray,
you must set VIA HWM to use the Celsius display settings.
Select the system tray icon you want to use.
The tray icon temp displays are in a range from 20C to 68C.

NOTES:
======
This is an email I received from a user about the CPU and System temps being
reversed in VIA HWM for his motherboard, and how he fixed it.
I snooped around the files that VIA HWM uses and found the following
definitions in the file "hmhard.dat" (* where VIA HWM is installed)
CPU_TEMP_PIN = 2
SYSTEM_TEMP_PIN = 1
Which at least in my system are opposite of what they should be.
By setting them to 1, 2; the display was flipped to the correct
(rational!) values.
* Close VIA HWM, Edit "hmhard.dat" file with notepad, save
file and re-start HWM)
